These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.sofnade.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of products from us. The Site is operated by SOFNADE CATERING PTE. LTD. (UEN 202314539M), a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered address at 8A Admiralty Street, #03-12, Food Xchange @ Admiralty, Singapore 757437 (“Sofnade”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By accessing the Site, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
You must be at least 18 years old, or be using the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order. By placing an order you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
We sell freshly prepared food and beverages, including bubble tea, house-baked cookies, snacks, and festive gift sets. Product images on the Site are for illustration. Actual items may vary slightly in appearance, size, and packaging.
Because our products are made fresh, availability is limited and some items require advance ordering. We will tell you the required lead time at checkout.
Our products are prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including milk, eggs, wheat (gluten), soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. We list known allergens on each product page, but we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from traces of an allergen. If you have a serious allergy, please contact us before ordering.
You are responsible for checking allergen information and for storing and consuming products according to the guidance we provide.
Many of our products are perishable and should be consumed within the time we state. Bubble tea and fresh-milk drinks are best enjoyed on the day of delivery. Cookies and snacks should be stored as described on the product page or packaging.
An order placed through the Site is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted only when we confirm it (for example, by an on-screen confirmation or email). We may decline or cancel an order before delivery, for example if an item is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or if we cannot deliver to your address.
All prices are shown in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices displayed for catering services, buffets, live stations and menus are exclusive of prevailing GST, which is applied at the point of quotation or invoicing. Prices in our online shop are shown inclusive of applicable taxes. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown separately before you pay.
We try to keep prices accurate. If we discover a pricing error after you order, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel.
Discount codes are subject to their own terms, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time. Only one code may be used per order unless we state otherwise. Where a discount applies, any free-delivery threshold is assessed against the discounted order value.
We accept payment through our payment providers, which may include Razorpay, PayNow, and major debit and credit cards. By paying, you authorise us and our payment provider to charge the full order amount. We do not store full card details on our own systems.
We offer self-pickup and islandwide delivery within Singapore. Delivery fees and any free-delivery threshold are shown at checkout. You may choose a delivery date subject to our lead time, and a delivery time slot where available.
You are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address and for ensuring someone is available to receive the order. If delivery fails because of incorrect details or no available recipient, we may not be able to redeliver or refund.
Because our products are made fresh to order, you may request a change or cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup. After that point we may have begun preparation and may not be able to accommodate changes.
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or not of satisfactory quality, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with photos and your order number. Where a problem is confirmed, we will offer a replacement, a credit, or a refund at our discretion and in line with your rights under Singapore law.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind on perishable food once it has been prepared or delivered.
If you create an account or provide details at checkout, you must keep your login and contact information accurate and secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, scraping content, introducing malicious code, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, branding, and the “Sofnade” name, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our written permission, except as needed to use the Site normally.
The Site may use third-party services (such as payment, delivery, and content management providers) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error free. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you have under Singapore law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act and the Sale of Goods Act.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law.
You agree to indemnify us against any loss or claim arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site at the time you place an order applies to that order. Please review these Terms regularly.
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter, or formation, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. You and SOFNADE CATERING PTE. LTD. agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
