Some dishes taste like home. Rasa Sayang, our Malay-Indonesian fusion buffet, is built entirely from them: treasured recipes, warm spices, and the kind of food that makes a room feel like a family gathering.
At $25.90 per person (before GST), it is a halal Malay buffet designed for sharing, whether you are feeding an office, a celebration, or a hall full of guests. Here is what is on the table.
How the Rasa Sayang buffet works
The menu is built around choice. You pick your dishes across each section: a starter or salad, two hearty staples, a chef’s meat, something from the sea, a vegetable or tofu dish, a dessert, and a Balang-style drink. The result is a balanced spread that feels generous without any guesswork.
Minimum order is 30 pax, on a 7 working day lead time, and every setup is halal from end to end.

Starters that wake up the table
Begin light and bright. The Kerabu Mangga Muda is a crisp green mango salad with red chilli, lime and toasted peanuts, tangy and refreshing. The Gado-Gado Nusantara brings steamed vegetables, egg and potato under a rich peanut sauce, topped with keropok for crunch.
Hearty staples worth going back for
This is the heart of the spread. The Nasi Minyak Hujan Panas is fragrant basmati cooked with ghee, pandan and warm spices, folded with berempah-marinated chicken. Prefer something smokier? The Bihun Mee Goreng Kampung with ikan bilis is savoury, spicy and full of umami.
Chef’s meat and ocean harvest
For the mains, the Ayam Masak Merah simmers tender chicken in a sweet-savoury tomato-chilli gravy, while the Daging Kalio Minang is a rich, saucy cousin of rendang in thick coconut gravy. From the sea, the Sambal Belado Udang delivers juicy prawns in freshly pounded chilli sambal, and the Ikan Assam Pedas is tangy, spicy and refreshing all at once.

Vegetables, tofu and sweet endings
Round out the savoury with Sayur Lodeh Lemak, mixed vegetables in a light coconut gravy, or Terung Balado, fried eggplant in bold sambal. Then finish sweet: Chendol Delight with housemade gula melaka, a Nyonya Kueh platter, or silky Mango Sago.
Balang-style drinks to match
Every drink is house-brewed and served Balang style, the way a proper kampung gathering should be. Think Bandung Lychee Selasih, floral and fruity with basil seeds, or a cooling Lychee Mint Tea.
